What a fucking travesty.
Regardless, overall the draft was pretty much a snoozefest after you figured out Chris Pronger was traded to the Flyers, who went in the top ten, and who Toronto picked. Toronto selected Nazem Kadri of the London Knights as their 7th overall pick, fucking up Ottawa in the process, because they originally wanted him. Whatever. L.A Kings fucked us up by picking Brayden OUT OF SPITE. If you were watching the Draft, you also noticed how Brian Burke completely SHAT HIS PANTS when they picked Brayden. He was pissed.
Let's see how Nazem Kadri develops, shall we? Oh, and please Toronto, don't screw up the kid. We know we have a reputation of doing that... so if you don't we'd really appreciate it.
On a completely different note, the Schenn sisters (did you even know they existed?) are possibly the cutest people on earth. Especially Macie. She's like, seven (maybe eight?) and she doesn't even know hockey goes to L.A to die. She just wants to go to Disneyland.

As we write this post, Scott Gomez (formerly of the Rangers) got traded to the Canadiens for Chris Higgins. Interesting.
Tomorrow is the start of the Free-Agency Frenzy...some Canadians are referring it to that instead of Canada Day. Oh well. We'll obviously keep our ears posted to see what the hell happens. God knows what else will happen.
